BB, if you don't mind, what's the whole tank setup going to run you? Is it a new tank or a dinged up one that you're going to fix?
Been kickin this idea around myself. You are going to do a write up for us with all the parts involved, right?
I picked up a used tank that doesnt need painted for $150 plus shipping. I am going to paint it anyway because I want it solid black with no logo and it has the LR emblems on it and pinstriping.
Its going to run over $500 for everything else to go on the tank. It could be done cheaper depending on which parts you use. The WG dash is high and regular gas caps would be cheaper etc.
Will order the rest of the parts this weekend and buy some as needed so will let you know when done.
