Default Forward Controls

Is there any benefit in running forward controls with a master versus leaving it where it is. I know that the style of the control will differ but lets hear the pros and cons.

I am not sure what you mean by a Master but I am 6'2" and without forward controls I have a hard time shifting or braking!

I sorry I was refering to the brake pedal. Some come with a master cylinder connected to the unit and others use the existing cylinder in the stock location.

I switched mine to a forward master cylinder, much easier to route a hose than a solid metal bar. Mostly a looks thing though. It is a pretty easy swap.

Richard, could you be so kind to post some images (or links) of this configuration?

TIA, FXD2003Rider

Looks great, Richard!

Did you use a braided or rigid brake line?

I went with braided stainless, in the top pic you can see the braided line just below the pipe at the seam in the pipe. I have since hidden it better than what you see in these pics.
I use a brake switch back in the stock position, so it is a 2 piece brake line. If I remember right they are Russell brake lines. Had to buy a chrome brake switch unit from Dennis Kirk and rebend the mount bracket for it, but nothing difficult to do.

Thanks for letting me know, Richard. I've bookmarked both websites!
