Is there any benefit in running forward controls with a master versus leaving it where it is. I know that the style of the control will differ but lets hear the pros and cons.
I sorry I was refering to the brake pedal. Some come with a master cylinder connected to the unit and others use the existing cylinder in the stock location.
I switched mine to a forward master cylinder, much easier to route a hose than a solid metal bar. Mostly a looks thing though. It is a pretty easy swap.

I went with braided stainless, in the top pic you can see the braided line just below the pipe at the seam in the pipe. I have since hidden it better than what you see in these pics.
I use a brake switch back in the stock position, so it is a 2 piece brake line. If I remember right they are Russell brake lines. Had to buy a chrome brake switch unit from Dennis Kirk and rebend the mount bracket for it, but nothing difficult to do.
