also have the mids with brake lever assy from 06 dyna and pegs never made it out of the shop to the road.bolts included 75 bux with shipping.brake lever side alone is 76 bux thru chicago harley with 20% discount.
What most people don't realize is that the stealerships mark the prices up 10-20% before giving you the "discount". You're really not saving anything. It's all about marketing and profit. I have a couple friends who work at our local stealer who told me this. Aftermarket costs a lot less for better quality parts.

I've got the mounts and pegs off my 05 superglide.
I used the 4 bolt to mount the forwards.
Also have the passenger pegs I'll throw in if you are interested.

If every other dealer sells at MSRP and Chicago discounts 20%, there's nothing sneaky about it. You pay $100 for something locally, it's $80 from Chicago, simple as that. That's why their mailorder business is so extensive. Everything they sell is discounted 20%, no if's and's or but's. Others 'might' but Chicago is not marking their prices up before the discount.

I got them on before noon today. I like the result. See the pics. Thanks for the help MikeC. I knew I would get one new riding position. I didn't expect two. I can put my heel on the mid and my toes on the forward heel rest. The size 12 boot helps .

That is a great idea and looks good too. I'm going to do the same if I can find brackets for my '03 Low Rider.

Thanks WdGldDave!
I was wondering if that would work and look good. Which bike mounts did you end up with? I figured most Dynas will interchange? Did you have any problems with the pipes in the way? I was even thinking bout trying mini footboards for the mids on my 2002 but havent seen any on the wideglides. Any advice?

Dave, you'll want to keep those mid pegs folded up out of the way when you're not on the highway. Too easy to get your ankle tangled up in them when you are stopping. Don't ask how I know.

Good Luck

Tom

Way to go WdGldDave, I kept my mids when I put the forward controls on this winter. My feet aren't a size 12, but I have no problem resting them on the mid and forward pegs also. Size 9 boots.

Easyrider77,
The brackets are from an 06 lowrider. My bike is an 01. There is no problem at all with the fit around the pipes. I have the stock exhaust with slip-ons. I don't know enough about the floorboards to help you here. I was looking at the mini-floorboards in the JP catalog and then decided to do the heel rest setup instead.
