Second.... NO IM NOT GOING TO ANSWER IT WHILE RIDING!
I'm Crazy not Stupid.
third, I have no real sense of direction E> <W I just can't tell. So I would love to have the GPS with so I can go where I want and still find my way home.
Fourth, A little Music while Rolling down the road would be wonderful. Tell me you don't use your IPod. Pandora Rocks.
I just thought it would be nice to have a nice mount for it, lots of people do it with their GPS.
My bad, I didn't consider it being used for GPS purposes or music. That's a different story. I don't use either when I ride but I know people who do. I've been lost all my life, why stop now. LOL
I have a Flip brand digital video camera and thought about finding a mount for my SB, so I could share my rides wit youse guys. Maybe use cable ties to strap the camera to my helmet (Helmet required by law)?

No Problem. I think most of us are.
Camera mounts are easier because you can screw them down to a simple tripod head and mount that.
the droid doesn't have anything I can screw down to.
I really want to keep it off the handlebars also.
now if I only knew how to weld.
"The whole point of riding is to get away from the phone....."
"I leave mine at home whenever I ride..."
I know ALL you guys aren't high-power executives getting bothered 24/7 with high-stakes business deals....
So aside from a million other valid reasons (i.e., GPS, MP3 player...etc), whatever happened to having it along to get in touch with buddies while out so you can meet up and have some fun. Or in case something happens at home where the wife/kids/family need your help in an emergency.
Valid point Bry...I bring my phone with me. It stays in my pocket. If I need it. I use it. I don't tend to answer my phone even if Im stopped for a smoke break.
Yea, Bry and longhair, I know how you feel. I like to find some out of the way road that not too many cagers use and go, just feel the ride I use this time to unwind, to reflect, to tell the rest of the world kiss my ever loving a$$. With that said, I do carry my cell phone for that emergency that cant / shouldnt be avoided.
As far as traveling, I would love to have a GPS. But thats beyond my present budget, so I guess Ill go the way of my forefathers and use a map.
I thought this was a big joke... NO ONE WOULD EVER put a cell phone within reach when riding. My blackberry is never out when riding. THE whole reason for the bike was to get away from the normal day to day BS. Not to bring it with me on two wheels.
Blackberry? Those things are still around? Just kidding with you bro, but its been a long time since I heard anyone mention those.
