I use a similar bag made by (****, now I have to figure out how to spell this...) kuryakyn.

It's great. Holds more than you'd imagine. It also works as a bit of a windshield. I don't like a windshield on my bike, so on a real windy day or a long ride, I throw the roll bag on.

yeah i'm of the doctrine that if you want a windshield, drive a car.

how much is "more than you'd imagine" enough for a change of clothes? enough to get by for a weekend?

really don't want to clutter up the rear of my bike with a rack/sissy bar/etc.

I've for one, Haven't used it yet but I rode with it on. It helps a little with the wind but if I wanted a windshield I would have bought a bagger. It'll be nice for a weekend trip.

I got the small switchback. If you fold and roll stuff up right you can jam a lot of stuff in there. Change of clothes for sure. If you get the bigger one it would probly get you by for a weekend.

Depends what you wear and how good you are at packing I suppose.

You could easily fit a pair of jeans, a couple of t-shirts, a couple pair of socks and skivvies, toothbrush and razor - maybe a pair of gym shoes as well. I've gotten my camera bag, chaps & heavy leather jacket shoved into mine... and maybe my wife's purse as well.

Another thing I like about it is you can load it up, and it's pretty quick and easy to pop it off and carry it with you if you want to. I could do that with my saddle bags as well, but that looks kind of weird.

I have the T-bags versions and the Kury one. The t bags version is sorter but bigger around. The Kury version is expandable too. I like the Kury version better as you load it from the top as opposed to the side. It easier to get to everything in the Kury bag. That being said, the T-bag makes a better windshield due to it's extra height.

Kuryakyn must make a couple different models. Mine loads from the side and is not expandable (but it does have an inner rain liner so you zip to covers to close it, as well as an included rain cover that goes over the outside - and a shoulder strap too.).
