Has anyone put custom rims on FATBOB?....I am looking to put FAT 50's on...In 18 inch front and back... I have seen HD's Stinger rims are 18's...I know the tires are different, But does 180 rear stay the same along with 160 in the front? What Rim sizes do I need if I am looking at 180 tire rear and a 160 front and want to change 16 to 18in rim? Any input would be great I am still going back and forward on this issue....on what to due with the rims.....
18 front and back with that fat50 would be kickass - but pricey - dayumm!
I would think youll need to go with a skinnier sidewall with a larger diameter rim, but not sure of specifics - not sure if they make a 180 with a sidewall smaller than 55 - that seems like a big tire to fit under there - dunno - good luck - post pics for sure!
I've seen at least one Fat Bob on the site with spokes... same color as your bike with but with red spokes. Not sure what size he's running though. Maybe he'll chime in.
Thanks for the info I think I might go with HOGPRO and see where that takes me...I will also check a few other places that you guys suggested. I would love to see A fat bob with 18's if any has pics
Saw those on Hog Pro they would look cool in black.....I just want to get away from 16's that way more rim will show..I like the Stinger Rims from HD. Was thinking of buying those and powder coating the center in gloss black leaving the lip in chorme. The Fat 50's in 18 would be very cool and differnet.....
