Here are a couple pics of my digital speedo/tach. Certainly not plug-n-play and a pain in the *** to install. More of a novelty as you lose a lot of the functionality of the OEM speedo.

That's a little low for my taste. I like to keep an eye on my speed when cruising around town and in L.A. having to look away from the road could quickly get you killed.
I do agree it is a little low, it still is easy to read by just glancing down as it is not a dial gauge but a big bright number. It is a great little speedo and
they make great looking mounts for the gauge to install on your handlebars. It's a 2 1/6" dakota digital. Dakota also makes one with indicators in it as well as a tach! Dakota will solve all your problems with the large speedo on your bars.... And it is easy as can be to install and wire. JMPancoast's digital speedo is not a Dakota.
Should you choose a Dakota, get from Zanotti's you will save a lot of money.
I've been looking at Dakota Digital for Dyna and Sportster. How do you like it? Sure is a great price for what you get and being "plug-and-play" it could not be much easier.
I like the Dakota Digital. I was looking for a way to add a tach and the red readout was a bonus because it matched the red stitching on my seat. The plug and play was great and it does all the stock functions plus a few extra. It can also have the correct mileage set within the first 100 miles by yourself. I had not done that yet in the picture. Very easy to read.
Oh, I like the Dakota Digital just fine, but, it seems really pricy to me, 'course I'm on a too small fixed income so I don't have a lot to spend. I'm trying to get as many ideas as possible so I can chose the best I can afford.
Right at this moment I'm attempting to save the $800-$900 for a Thundermax Autotune. But I have to plan ahead.
