Hi guys, My 2007 FXDC imported from USA to Israel last year.

Yesterday I receive a letter from the Israel Ministry Of Transport (printed at 14 Feb 2010),
say that there is a recall for my HD "fuel cover tightening" no joke!

Someone know or hear something about this strange recall?

This is news to me. I have a 2007 Low Rider (FXDL) and have not received any recall notice.

 

You should be able to go to Harley's website, enter you VIN and get info about any recalls.

 

Were at Harley's website I can enter my VIN to get info?
There is any cover on the fuel tank except the fuel cup?

Same site lists one 2007 FXDC recall for tires.

Keep in mind that international HDs are not identical to domestic bikes, so you could well have a recall that we'd know nothing about over here.

Why not just call your dealership?

My HD is a USA domestic 1HD at the VIN. and the recall come from the import DMV in Israel.
