Purchased the lowering blocks for my '09 Bob from ABM, got a question...
RH side installation called for screwing the bolt through the lower threaded factory mounting hole and into the threaded hole of the lowering block. My point is it wouldn't tighten up, although a couple of threads show through the back side of the lowering block. There doesn't seem to be any way to tighten the lowering block against the backside of the swingarm.
All bolts are tight from the outside. Any suggestions?
When I used lowering blocks I had to get a longer bolt and nut for the right side swing arm mount. I just looked and the set up and thats how mine is. I rode like that for a year. No problems.
If a couple of threads are showing on the back side and it's not getting tight that sounds like a problem. Try a longer bolt and a nut just to be safe. Remember use thread lock. I use the blue thread lock.
