Last night I became a proud new owner to the 2010 Vivid black Wide Glide. I'm in love. Thats bout all I can say.
I bought my first bike last August, a 09 black and orange nightster. I put 3118 miles on it since. Well, I've been eyeing the Glide for a few weeks, but not too serious as my bike was new, Orange(obsessed with orange), and I still feel like a fairly fresh rider. Wasn't so sure bout the bigger bike. I stopped in at Blue Springs HD to do some typical weekly shopping and the salesman approached me, as usual, only this time says "hey, you brought the bike this time, Today might be your lucky day" lol. I kinda shrugged it off and told him that for the difference in cost, the glide was the wrong color, and left it be. Back to my shopping I go. Well, few minutes went by and he approaches me again with their sales manager and starts talking bout a test ride. That just about concludes the story, We went on the ride and I was instantly in love. Talked numbers a bit, and rode home on my new Dyna! I chose the Vivid black as a fresh canvas to add my own orange touch. I've been riding all day, now I'm warmed up again, I think I'm heading back out.

Ahhh, a great story.... enjoy your new ride. I was an anti-Harley guy for many decades, but my Dyna has turned me into a believer and a Harley lover.
Great choice on color...I've had a lot of fun on mine so far as this is my first Dyna. I had owned nothing but Softails before and not sure if I'll go back to one for a while.
Congrats on the new bike,i got mine in Jan. and am still waiting to go on my first ride because of all the snow.I also love orange but i wasnt to wild about the black with flames so i went with black which is my other favorite color.Enjoy your bike.
