You didn't need to extend the wires so you just pulled them through the way they came stock? If so that would save a lot of time is there extra under the tank or seat or something? Thanks

I just removed the connectors from the wires, pulled them out, fished them throught the new bars, reinstalled the connectors and plugged them in. There was enough extra wire under the tank.
jbrown, what style bars do you have that you didnt need to do extensions on the wiring? and do you have a pic of where the wiring goes into the frame?
My bars are 16" burly narrow apes, sorry no pics of the wiring. There is extra wiring in the backbone if you just pull on it. There is a video on youtube on how to remove the connectors.
