I do both. I've actually sold a bunch of stuff that I wish I would have kept.Which reminds me I need to post some more stuff in the classified.

 

Big time eBayer for me. i only got to the dealership for little things, just to stay on the good side and hangout a little. all my expensive parts, eBay! i off load all my parts i have taken off my bike. im amazed at what people will buy sometimes.

 

+1 on the pack rat! Have parts for both my '67 and '08 bikes. (Its getting crowded in the garage!)

Major pack rat here, in fact when I bought my bike I had one of those plastic totes to put HD type crap in there, now I have 3 of those plus 3 shelves of parts that are too big to stuff in a plasic tote, like exhaust stuff. I like to sit back and analyze my purchases for a while, like performance, quality, durability and then decide if it's gonna stay on. I have had a number of things that I took off and put aftermarket stuff on to then find out, I cleaned up, modified, whatever the stock crap and put it back on. But I think I'm getting to a point that I need to get some of the extra old stuff out of here.
