Default Harley Combo Gauge

I'd like a tach on my Fat Bob, but don't like the "add on" look of the cvo-type mount. I've looked at the combo gauges, but have heard mixed reviews on their reliability. Anyone have any experiences with them?

I have a combo speedo/tach and could not be happier, never been any issues with it.

I hadn't heard about reliability problems. I was planning on getting the speedo/tach combo since the lack of a tach is one of the only things I don't like about my Fat Bob.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who got a clunker.

I wanted to get one, but the only one that was reasonably priced is the new one with the spun aluminum. However, I didnt want spun aluminum, and I dont think it has the colour change feature which I thought was pretty cool.

So I found a low rider dash and a cheap harley tach on ebay

Got mine 20,000 miles ago in Nov of '08. No problem whatsoever, very sweet. ...... back and forth across the country twice in all weather including some incredibly heavy torrential rains, never misses a beat

Don't know if they do now, but they did at the end of 08 and beginning of 09, would be surprised if they had sold them all.
