Hey Thanks guys for all the encouragement. I'm going to do it. It is not like I can't reach it's just different. When I got the Sporty I was not sure of the forward controls. Now I'm going to miss them. Probably get highway pegs.
I'll look into the seat. Might send in the stock seat for an adjustment. Or look at the reach seat. I'll figure out something.
That Sportster will be missed. It does clean up nice. Now I gotta start over.
I think the Superglide custom is the one you want. It pretty much is a Low Rider. I'm only 5'7" and I have no problem on my 2005 SuperGlide which is higher than the Custom. Ialso have aRoad King with 12 inch rear shocks. No problem on this either. Both my feet are flat on the ground on both of my bikes.
Asking if a Dyna is too wide for you here is like asking if this girl is too fat for me, it all depends on what everyone will say when they see you riding it.
Yeah I know it was a vague question. And as stupid as it is what others say when they see me riding her is part of the concern. I don't really care that much, but I don't want to look like an *** either.
There has been a lot of help from this thread. Thanks to all.
I called the dealer and he is supposed to return the call when he finds a dealer trade in black.
dope man, what pipes you got there? I'm gonna miss the Big Guns.
I'm 5"6' on a low gravity day...I traded up from a nightster with forward controls to a streetbob...for me the forward controls on the SB were too far so I kept the mids and added highway pegs...for me that's perfect...plus, mids allow for better control of the bike, especially during corners...I've recently added 1" lowering blocks but that was just for looks...you'll probably be ok with the stock height...anyway good luck with your new ride and post some pics when you get it...

The pipes on mine are the Cobra Speedster Slash cut, I dunno if the exact ones I have will fit a 96" since mine is the 110". After doing tons of internet research and talking with the people at CobraUSA and they had what they considered a good map for mine that was the direction I decided to go, but the map was WAY off, but the pipes look good and sound great, not as loud as the V&H pipes, but loud is not what I was going for.
