did the long boy fender from kc on ebay come with any accessories like spacers??? if not were do i get them and how big. b/c i want to pc it black b4 i put it on
No, just the fender. The spacers are from American Classic on ebay. I am not sure about spacer width for you, but mine are 1/2", which I think will work for you, KC has 2 different width fenders, mine is the wider 5.5"
i think a 3/4" spacer is what i need the lower forks measure 7" and the fender is 5.5" wide so leaving me with 1.5 so 3/4 i think is what i need not sure gonna order fender first and see what i need.
does the 5.5" fender look funny?? also is there a quick or easy way to measure for the holes i have to drill in the fender??
I told you wrong, mine ARE 3/4" as well.
What I did was pick up some foam weatherstrip of the thickness you want between the fender and rubber of the tire, the weatherstrip has an adhesive to stick it to the tire. Then lay the fender on that in the position you want.
Then insert the spacers and use a drill bit that is exactly the same size as the mounting holes on the lowers, just mark it with the drill. Clamp it all together if you can so they don't move while you mark it.
Once I drilled the holes I bolted the spacers to the fender to mark where I wanted to cut the hole out to match the spacer.
I used a Dremel tool to cut it.
Hope I covered everything, but if not, feel free to ask.
