Default speedo

Thinking of getting one of these being I have a MPH speedo in a KMH world. Hase anyone have any experiance with these? Dakota Digital for an FXD.

Here is mine. Easy plug and play installation. I have had no problems. Fairly easy setup and you can set your own millage in the first 100 miles of use. As you can see in the picture I had not done that yet. I only wish I could find a matching fuel gauge.

Gonna regurgitate this once more. Does anyone know what year and model factory speedo's are a direct replacement for an 04 FXD?

Really like the look of it, wish I knew/heard about it before I bought my LR dash and tach!

my only concern is, what do those of you who have this tach (or an aftermarket replacement) do about the code read out?

The Dakota Digital is plug and play and will read the codes. You program it for the model its on.

Cool! thanks! I'm curious to see what it looks like when the bike is off. Is it pure black or can you see the outline where the number displays are? like black squares?

Depending on how much direct sunlight is shining on it the outlines are hardly visable. I am very happy with the looks of it.
