I've seen pictures of black custom Bobbers with red rims and really like the look. I think Exile Cycles built one. Has anyone had their Denim Black Street Bob rims powdercoated red? If so, can you post a pic. I think this would be a good look for the Denim Black Bob and am thinking of finding a powdercoater that could do my rims. Thanks.
Yep... I'll go puttin to a meet... Then as soon as I park it... I start hearing...cool..wow...and then.. I hear...from two guys; See I told ya they had rims that color... We can't tell anybody, they'll never believe we seen some original rims... LOL... I like red rims with the white walls...[sm=escape.gif]

WillieC,
Wasn't that the guy who got very frustrated and wrote a paragraph about the forum and its members before finally signing off? Whoever he is, I think he would have enjoyed this discussion about the rims. Maybe he was just way ahead of everyone else with the red rims.
WdGldDave..You and I joined around the same time... actually I lurked for awhile before joining...I remember those posts... the guy sounded like he was on meth... He thought everybody here was a bunch of dumbasses... he did those rims with photoshop if anybody had a negetive response he went off on... He was given ample time to stop the BS... he didn't... It was even mentioned that he didn't even have a Harley... as he went off on Harley riders... So he didn't leave under frustration he was banned...
Ah yes, now I remember. Good times, good times. There are so many new members here, I feel like I've been here forever but it has only been about 9 months.
WdGldDave... I know feels like a l-o-o-o-ong time.. But, we're ageing well..LOL... If ya want a few chuckles do a search for.."pegdragger" that guy was really out there... weird may cover it I think... Later Skee

RE: Red Wheels on Street Bob
Good 'ol PEGDRAGGER, now he was enjoyable. I use to log on at night to read his posts just to get a good night laugh. He was classic. He even did a photoshop of a bob with green and purple rims. Kind of weird. I wish he'd come back under a new name just for some more laughs. Do you all rememeber his thread of the neighbors trailer getting raided while he was on the site. He told the tallest tales. I'm sitting hear just laughing at that one. Boy, do I miss him.
