Ladies and Gentlemen... I just picked up my first bike (should get it in the next few days) 07 Street bob denim blue, ripsaws, drag bars, quick detach wind shield, forward controle, ~ 3000 miles... I know the first thing I want to get for it is a service manual.... I see alot of PDF versions online for MUCH cheaper than the thick book itself... has anyone had any luck with these? Better yet anyone got one to share?
Plans for the bike you ask? hmmmm black wrap the exhaust, lower the bike, swap out alot of the chrome for black or powder coat what I have... change grips and fwd controls to black... black out the lowers... MAYBE even black out the wheels like the 2010 wide glides... tank lift... then just ride ride ride and ride.... I know I know I know.... this is worthless without pictures.... I promise Ill work on that as soon as I get the bike.... I cant wait to get out there and hit the streets.... Oh and I did take the MSF class last year when I got my lisc... thanks!!

+1 on the printed version. You can pick them up used from members or from ebay for 35 to 50 bucks....... small investment to help you keep your bike running tip top...... plus you won't have to take it to the "STealer" for every little thing. Will save you big $$$$$$$$$$ CONGRATS and post some pics when you oick her up. You'll be loving it!!!
Congrats on the purchase.....hope all turns out well. Food for thought....maybe instead of blacking out the whole bike, find some stuff that accents the bike (Im using copper, brass, and aluminum as it offsets well with the denim black). Not trying to rain on the parade, but everyone does the blackout thing. Thinkn outside the bun will produce more looks and set you aside from the typical mods. May have a few ideas up my sleeve....would be more than willing to help brainstorm some mods
cool man thanks... I was originally going to get a black bike and do all black with copper accents... but now that Ive got a denim blue bike Im thinking blue tins... alot of black with some nicely placed chrome accents... although I like the idea of using something other than chrome... hmmmm
