So being the none wrench that I am I know this is going to take me forever to complete. So trying to get the wires that were internally ran through my bars out for new one. I followed wire out of bottom of bars and they go to the neck of the frame. I then pull the rubber plugs off of both sides of frames. I pulled out on big wire plug, but cant seem to find the plug that the other wires go to. Do I just have to pull harder? take tank off? I attached two pics, one of the wires i need to get out and on of the plug that came out. Thanks for any help
Dont have to take the tank off but need to raise it up some to get underneath it.
Under the tank up in the neck there is a plastic cover. You need to pop it out and pull the rest of the harness's out there. The plugs you need probally wont reach the sides so pulling on them is not a good idea.
There is a plastic cover under the frame which will give you better access to the connectors. you may need to move the tank back a couple inches to gain better access to it. should be a breeze from there to disconnect them, but then your in for the long haul with the rest of the process.
