Default Got me stumped???

2003 Wide Glide w/ 63,000 mi. on it. Just had bored to 95 500 mi. ago. Took it for a ride other day couple hundred miles. Stopped as a friends on the way back home, went out to start it, dead, checked it out, no spark of any kind, checked plug wires, plugs, replaced coil, still nothing. Anybody have this happen.

Check voltage across the battery terminals. If you can get it started and a full charge on the battery, let it run a few minutes Check voltage across the battery while idling (13.2v.) and about 2200 rpm's (14.2v.) if this is a carbed bike. EFI constant 14.2v. Then test the stator output and grounds (DIY stator test) one can get volts but not amps. The regulator/rectifier controls voltage and converts the AC volts to DC volts. If the reg/rectifier is shot I would go with one from Cycle Electric. Visit their site, a little bit better than HD's. Kuryakyn has a voltage monitor that will display how many volts your system is providing. I have them on both Dyna's.
