Sissy Bar Info
I am now the proud owner of an 07 Wide glide. I have started ordering parts for it and started with the rigid side plates. The question I have, and maybe someone here can answer it for me. I have a tall sissy bar and pad that I came up with somewhere and I do not have any idea what it fits. I don't want to order a new one if this one will fit. Can somebody tell me what the width is suppose to be on the right one. Outside to outside of bar. The one I have is 7-1/2, but I think it's suppose to be 7-3/4.

I measured the width of the sissy bar outside to outside at the top of the side plates and the width is 9 inches exactly, on my 06' super glide. I'm thinking the 7.5 inch one is probably for a sportster.

I just went outside and measured mine and it's just over eight and three quarters. There's some margin for adjustment in the side plates but not that much. If you got some time you'll eventually find some on ebay for thirty or fourty bucks.
