Detachable saddlebags
Im sure somewhere along the line someone has asked this question , but I have searched and cant find an answer.......I recently purchased my 2007 super glide and it already had the harley detachable bags installed , but after seeing a set of new ones it looks like my bags are mising a bracket that somehow connects to the rear shock mount ???? Am I missing something ?? Is that bracket required or is it just an upgrade that my bags never came with ???? - looks like my bags have part number 90183-08 build date 09/07...anyone have any insight ? thanks in advance.

Last year i installed a HD quick detachable sissy bar and small luggage rack assy on my 2008 superglide.Now i have a set of hardstreets hard saddle bags [slimbags model] on order which are made for the easy brackets system.I ordered and received my easy bracket kit and rear turn signal relocation kit.I installed the rear turn signal relocation kit and the easy brackets adaptors that piggy back on the HD quick detachable set up already on my bike.When i recieve the hard bags i just need to install the easy brackets onto the saddle bags, and they will then be quick detachable just like the HD sissy bar luggage rack set up already on the bike.Not sure if this answers your question or not ? You can go to easy brackets.com and probably figure out what your looking for. The hardstreets slimline model bags are recessed to fit around your swingarm and shocks on your Dyna. Pretty nice set up.
