OK, I got tired of seeing everyone but me come up with great ideas. So I got the creative juices flowing and, voila, made an under-fifty-bux mod that should rock the motorcycle world...well, maybe.
Anyway, if you prefer the grunge look and reckon Mudd’s ammo boxes could short-change your cargo carrying capacity, consider an underbody truck/trailer box. There’s enough room for: hunting equipment, tools, camping gear, chain binders, an inverter welder, lawn chairs, a smallish child plus a whole lot more. And, I’ve calculated I can still get by with less than 230 lbs of concrete counter weight on the port side.
One unforeseen side benefit: there’s no need to invest in a lowering kit-the bike already sits 3” lower than stock! I’m still trying to decide if I should change the color. Whaddaya think?
Tools required:
Oxyacetylene torch Stick or Mig welder Sledge hammer
Dude, there must be something in that Santa Rosa water your drinking over there tonight. You are really getting "creative"... BTW. I like the color. Cheers.
