Another positive experience. Highly recommend! Followed rdondes install thread and it was a 30 minute piece of cake!

I dunno, but I'm still interested in the guy that just ordered his baffles. I think I want to do this soon.

Is everyone running the original or the quiet?

Are the originals louder or quiter than the short shots?

Have you thought about pulling the baffles out and wrapping them with fiberglass mat for exhaust systems. That will take the tinniness out of them. I went the way you are going...from the SS mufflers, then added the BCT's. While they do make a difference it's not as much as one might hope for. I finally got an entire new exhaust.

I like it loud and BCT's are loud as hell. Pretty much sound like drags but they make the bike run a little better with the small amount of back pressure.

Hope you're neighbors are ready for that. I have V&H Big Radius with BCT's and they sound like bloody murder. Specially thru underpasses and tunnels. Makes me think of a nitro funny car.

wow. i got the baffles in today and took the bike out for a little rip. i think they sound great. these are the second pair i have owed and i think every pipe i ever get will have these in them. yes they are LOUD as hell. nice deep throaty sound. it says in the instructions they are not suppose to be less than 3 inch from end of pipe. i mounted mine in the holes from my original baffles and they are about 2 inch from end of pipe. is that were everybody else is putting them? seem to be ok.
