I really like the over square set up. I wonder how big you can go with the bore. I've seen 4.312 at Jim's.

Not as good as expected, but very respectable. It is pretty damn quick with the 30T on it.

94HP and 98TQ

Not bad at all for a $1500 engine build including the tune!!

I think his Big Radius may be holding it back slightly. Bigger valves in the heads might have bumped it up a couple HP. Overall, for the money, they are great results.

ya buddy! she is a blast to ride! i mean just a BLAST, with the new power, and the power pulley she just rips! i have been blowing the doors off everything that pulls up next to me!!!

the stearing damper just rocks in the turns! the 120 up front is super solid on the road, and the new lockhart cooler just keeps things so nice, i just the jack plate and made my own set up for a cooler

overall i am super stoked!

but.... snapped all 5 pulley bolts! ha ha ha, ooh well!

Hey Joe ... what was your static compression ratio after your build ...?

I was interested to compare the differences between your build (94HP/98TQ) and Vic's (SCLonghair) build (84HP/91TQ) ... you've got a shade less displacement; but, big bore vice stroked (as the later, 96" motors are, relative to the 88") ....

Was looking at the BigBoyz cam comparison page ... seems Vic's cams are really close in intake/exhaust opening/closing and lift is same 0.510" ... duration of Woods cam is only 4 degrees different ...

Only other significant differences are that you have ported heads and 2-into-2 vice Vic's T-header ....

I guess it is well known that the stroker will put out relatively more torque ... which I guess would explain the net greater 'delta' between HP vice Torque numbers ... also interesting how well the porting to your heads adds to the overall results ....

I guess part of the fact that your absolute numbers are greater may well be the fact that the compression ratio of the 95" will tend to go up by one-half to two-thirds .... (i.e., from around 9:1 to over 9.5:1) ... [because increase in compression ratio increases torque] ....

Are you using the stock '06 throttle body ...?

Be interested in your thoughts or Vic's ... or others ... (as well as any additional info that would shed light on your results) ....

- of course you realize that the reason for my interest is that I'll have something of an 88" version of Vic's motor with your (Andrews 37) cam ... and am contemplating heads and big bore as my next phase (so more or less your current build, eventually) ....

p.s. you didn't mention adding compression releases to your heads ....
