You will never get all the oil out unless you have the scavenger oil kit. I would not recommend running for 30 seconds.Let it drip as long as possible and put in the right amount, 2.5 qts I believe.
I was going to change over to syn today and wanted to get as much oil out as possible.I guess there is not alot of oil left in the motor to worry about.... Thanks
I wouldn't run it without oil. Bad, bad idea. If you're that worried about mixing them, I'd put in the 2.5 qts, run it for a bit, then change again. But synthetic isn't cheap.
