You have said: "Spent 10 bucks extra on a slick little chrome cap to cap it off,..."

What I really like to know I:

A: How it's a cap like that called,
B: Where can I buy 1,..(?)

My advice is leave the mids on. Forwards with a 30 degree rake sucks. I had forwards on my wide glide and that worked because of the rake. I bought an 09 Superglide with forwards and it ruined the whole dynamic on twisties. I re-installed mids and love it. Just sayin! I have the forwards up for sale and no one wants them.

Meanwhile I've ordered them,...,I had a ride on a SuperGlide of a Brother of mine & I liked it,..

Can you please tell me what's the name of the chrome cap & where you can buy it,..

If you have an ebay account put "harley davidson shifter spline cover" in the search field. You should find what you are looking for. I put one on a 2012 Super Glide I had years ago. I didn't want to pull the primary cover. It looked like it belonged there.
