We (co-worker and myself) finally had a little free time and fabed up some new exhaust tips for my pipes, and being in raw form I wanted to post up a pic of two of them.
I am triyng to decide weather to powder coat them black, or something close to the color of my bike, or just go totally wild with them.
looks pretty cool, would like to see them installed, i think black with the dimples polished or the other way around would be pretty sweet
I just finished with them, I will try and do a test fit tomorrow morning and get some better pictures.

Thanks, but I owe most of it to my co-worker, the machinist. I will put these on the Cobra Speedster that are on my bike as of right now, that is where the deminsions for all of the critical fit parts came off of.
Are they the pipes in your sig? Will the tips make the pipes significantly longer or are there some kind of tips already on that I can't really see?
Yes, adding to the pipes in my sig picture, the old tips were chromed and I sand blasted them and painted them black. The new tips will extend the length of the pipes but only about 3 1/2 inchs.
They look heavy, but that shouldn't hurt anything. I love homemade custom work. If ya want it done right, do it your self!
Actually aluminium is not that bad on weight, and being that it is 6061 T6 it is rather strong as well. I have not had them on any scales but I guess they might weight 2 pounds a piece.
