Well I tinkered around with the tank a bit today and I think it will work. It seems like the 2" lift may put the front tank mounts in the way of the triple tree, but a 3" may be a perfect fit. I may have to shave down or bend the brackets that RudeDog sends. If all else fails I may have to move the tank back slightly. If Rudedog and I get things straightened out on our end then I will post any issues I have with the tank lift and the pics when I get it installed.
RudeDog, if I do have to modify your brackets I will take pics of them so that you can modify them before you send them out, if you want too.
Ok, I know it's been a while since I started this thread, but I am here to finish it. I purchased the fuel tank lift kit from RudeDog and finally had a chance to install it. For starters the lift will fit on without any mods, if you are willing to sacrafice approximately an 1/8th of an inch turning radius on either side. The lights and bars clear the tank with the lift on. I had to pull and stretch the wires from the frame to make the wires reach the speedo. Other than that it pretty much went on like it was meant to be there. I have more pictures that I will attach as soon as I get them from work. I am going to notch out my brackets so that the triple tree will clear the brackets. I will post and send rude dog the measurements of the brackets once I get them. RudeDog, thanks for the help bro. If you can fabricate the piece I need for a suicide clutch let me know, I hate to spend $300 from LaBriola when I know it's something that can be made for about $25.
Thanks for positive reinforcement, once I get my new tins in I will have the brackets powdercoated the same color as the tins. Right now they are kind of a temp thing just to show people that they will fit the WG's.
Great mod for little $$.. Wish they could all be that way....LOL

Rudedog. I too live in the UK and after reading this thread would be interested in a 3inch tank lift for a wide glide. If you still are making them how could I pay you and could you send it to a freind of mine in Texas.
If not possible could I have a design or something to try and have one made in the UK.
