bmx pedal mod

I know this is not new but this is how I did it. I bought the pedals for $5 on ebay, 2 bolts grade 8, 1 1/2" and 2 washers for $1.19. The kuryakyn peg extension #8063 for 39.99. I gutted the pedal of everything but one bearing race, the one on the plug end I left in. I had to take a dremel to the peg extension and grind it down a little to fit in the pedal. I then just bolted it all together and used lock tite. I have to say thanks to who ever posted this subject first. They feel great and look good and have less in them then the guy who sells them.

$99 plus shipping, the only thing I didnt like was all he did was put an adapter on the end to fit the bike. his will still spin and i dont want to mess with that and I got to spend time in the cave making them.

Hutch bear trap pedals.
Those bring back memories of the bmx days.
Those things used to be hell on the shins!
They look nice.

I like 'em, I think they'd look badass on a bob. I'm going to try to get my fiancee on a street bob someday and do it up with some stuff like this.
Def wouldn't want them to spin though.
