I believe the hook-up would be a bit involved for a cable controlled throttle. I've put about five or six cruise contols on cars, trucks and vans and you always needed a servo connected to the throttle cable or link. Kind of a bulbous apparatus to hide anywhere on a Dyna.
I've been on a few searches for cruise control for my bike, but always came up empty.
I have the throttle lock type "cruise" and also the hand grip paddles, but it's still hard to maintain a consistant speed, especially in the hilly areas. It would be nice to just set the cruise.
I recall, back in days of old, when I spent I lot of nights at the clubs that always seemed to overserve me. I'd have to drive home using just one eye, so that I had just had one centerline to stay to the right of. Having cruise control allowed me to just focus on driving, my speed was legal.
I haven't driven or ridden that way in decades, but I still depend on cruise control a lot. I have a lead foot and hand.
This really looks like it can be done on a Dyna easily. I'll have to chit chat with the service department and see if I can't also get them to hook me up!

For long-distance runs, there's nothing better than letting your bike do all the work. This Cruise Control Kit puts you just minutes away from true touring bliss. Simply install the new hand controls and module and you're ready to roll. No splicing into the wiring harness or taking off the tank to install. Kit includes updated switch housings, module and all necessary hardware.
This product is available in multiple variations. Be sure to look for the one that fits the specific model and year of your motorcycle.
MSRP US $239.95
I don't think this will work on a Dyna. That box has got to get a signal from someplace and I bet the Dyna wire harness doesn't have the plug. My guess is Harleys are like most cars and are wired for every option even if you dont have it....so 9 times out of 10 the plugs and the wires are there. That's why it's a plug and play set up for a touring bike.
Looked through the new catalog and the part # 77197-07 is now obsolete. So unless you can find a dealer with one sitting on a shelf your not going to get one.
