Default Dyna front end chatter

When i am at a dead stop and the engine is idle, my front end chatters (metal to metal) when i lock my steering right or left. Does your dyna do this?

Mine either, but why would you do that? If you must do it try revving just a little and see if it goes away ,second place to check is prolly your tank bolts.
Man i bookmarked your vid for yhose rainy days when I'm stuck in da house!!! Cool vid!

Could be a number of things. Tank bolts is a good and easy check, these tend to loosen if not loctited. also could be a loose clutch lever, man rattles real good if its not tightened to spec, and having the steering locked in a direction would generate more fibes from the engine to the handlebars. try locking it in a direction and grabbing your levers, mirrors, turn signals, and anything else you can try to find the rattle.

yeah i agree with the above.

check your tank bolts first.

if that's not it touch everything you can get your hands on on the front end of your bike to locate the vibration.

check the bolts on your brake calipers, too. i had loose bolts there on my fatboy and it vibrated like a ****.

Take an hour and tighten everything you can see. I do that once a month in season. Something always loosens up. My clutch lever buzzes like crazy.
