My lo is denim black, I love it, just wipe it down, I use windex, soft cloth and lemon pledge, works wonders for the bugs, I used it before a ride and the bugs wiped right off, I had a vivid black in the sporty I had before my lo and it seemed like I was cleaning it all the time!
Mine is denim and I LOVE it! That said, I will say that my only knock on it is that you are bound to get little scratches fairly easily that you cannot buff out like you can with gloss. But like I said, I'm still glad I went with denim.
+1. The black out look works real nicely with the denim. Can do some real nice contrasts with the black powdercoat; some gloss, some matt. Maybe some polished or chrome highlights.
If you like chrome, I think the Vivid black looks better.
Now of course, you may not get the Denim because it's not available. Look at it this way, if you decide Flat Black is what you want after getting the Vivid....it's super easy to paint yourself (and a lot cheaper than paying the $350 Denim Black Moco upcharge).
Just the opposite story for me. I ordered a 'Vivid Black'..
Dealer call told me my bike was in, went to see and it was a 'Denim'.
Told me it would be another 4-6 weeks for a 'Vivid' I just couldn't wait
Now I'm so glad I have the Denim Black,, Really love it...
i'm just not a fan of the denim black. that being said, it does have a certain "takin' care of business'' look to it.
i love my vivid black. but then again i enjoy polishing and waxing my bike. i find it cathartic and wipe my bike down every day, before and after i ride, and i do a full detail spray, polish, wax, and shine my chrome every weekend.
you won't be upset either way. and like someone said if you love the denim that much, you can always pull your tins and have them repainted.
Hi there well mine is black denim i never realy wanted anything else and i am gald i had my bike in it.
Easy clean no polish to worry about and i think it looks a little more hard core well thats my opinion anyway.
Whatever you chose have fun dude.
