So I guess the fact that there are no replies means
1. no one has used them
2. since they advertise on the site the responses were deleted by the admin.
So now I am up for suggestions on slip ons .
lay'em on me!
I have a set with the removable baffles. They're not too loud if you leave the baffles in. I have since moved on to a D&D Fatcat system, I'd be willing to sell the American Custom slip ons if you're interested.
I bought a set last October for my 2011 Fatboy Lo. Best bang for the buck- looks good, sounds good, looks stock (which is what I wanted). The selling point, for me, was the sound bites on the website and the interchangeable baffle system. I bought a set of the "mid range" baffles, used them once, and never reinstalled them because I liked the sound without them in. According to my girlfriend and my best friend (who is a HD rider) it is "loud but not obnoxious" which is exactly what I was looking for.
I like 'em and they didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Customer service was awesome and shipping was quick. They also give you a $89 credit if you send them your old cans, but I wasn't able to take advantage of that b/c of the catalytic convertors on my stock mufflers. Best bang for the buck!
