I guess $10 dollars is $10 dollars and we all need to watch how we spend money these days. I cull the options down by refusing to put anything new on my bike that's not made in the USA.
Pretty obvious isn't it we spent that much money on a Harley and now we're trying to save a few pennies elsewhere... I bought some knockoff old school grips for mine the are aluminum with a few rebber bands on them and they cost me a whopping 24.95 cause they were "defect" products but you can't tell... If money grows on trees for you great but don't tell somebody their Harley is gonna look like trash just because you waste your money(or don't like their style)... I think they will look good as long as they fit... Also I used gorilla glue for mine and grafite on the throttle side...
Why not?

I payed about the same money for a genuine Harley Davidson product with no defects, I don't think that's a 'waste' of money.

Even if they do fit, isn't it pretty obvious I think they look trashy ... so what!

1" PM PERFORMANCE MACHINE BILLET RENTHAL GRIPS HARLEY These cost a bit more but still have a classic old school look. You can get them most places and from E-bay.
I think to make them work you will have to cut the rubber off your old throttle sleeve and glue these to it on the throttle side and glue the other right to the bar... Gorilla glue...
Thanks guys we'll have to wait and see A: if they look like crap or not and B: if I can get them to work... like IVe said.. if not oh well only out $10...
