Default New Vocabulary @#%$@&!!!!!!

I haven't posted in a while but I had to share this with you all.

I have read and heard several stories about taking a yellow jacket in your sleeve will double your vocabulary. Right?

Well on my ride home from work today, I hit the straights and was speeding up to about 60mph when suddenly for about 1/100th of a second, I seen a black and yellow flash fly right smack into my mouth!!! The impact went right through my closed mouth and whatever it was, lodged between my lower lip and teeth. I attempted spitting it out about 4 times before he all came out in pieces.

Almost immediately my lip started feeling like it was in flames and the pain was getting stronger and stronger every second. I was about a tenth of a mile from a park where there is always a Deputy hanging out and I had to stop.

All the while this is going on, I am thinking about my Mother when I was a child. I saw her get stung by a bee on her arm and she almost went into shock and was rushed to the hospital to save her life. I am 42 years old and have never been stung by anything in my life. So I don't know if the same will happen to me since in about one minute, my lower lip was about the size of a marble and still growing and burning.

I stopped right next to the Deputy car and jumped off my bike. I flipped over my lip in the bike mirror and I could see a cut inside my lip with a stinger stuck in it. I squeezed the **** out of my lip and the stinger came right out along with a lot of blood from the cut. I kept squeezing thinking that I might be squeezing out bee venom. It seemed to work since the growing pain kind of leveled off a bit. The deputy was no where in sight so I jumped back on the bike and rode home. My lip was about tripled in size and pretty sore. That was about 5 hours ago.

I just finally was able to eat something and the swelling and pain is coming down. Now it just feels like I got punched in the mouth. My lower teeth and jaw are very sore. I don't have a helmet and shield but I am seriously considering duct tape over my mouth tomorrow morning. I dont know exactly what hit me, but it hurt really frickin bad!!!

Just some bad luck...back in the '80s I was riding my bike wearing a full face helmet on the way to the gym and one of those BIG black bumblebees hit me in the neck and got lodged inside my collar.

And yep, it stung me on the neck behind my left ear. It burned like hell and left a welt the size of a marble...it hurt worse than when a bird hit me in the chest at about 40-45 mph...

I've been down that road before. Took one in the ear once. Can't imagine getting it in the mouth.

Yea that sucks more than Oprah on a rack of ribs.
Back in the 80s when I had my Yamaha I got stung by a bee in the chest while riding. I was pissed and smashed the damn thing. Haven't been unlucky enough to ever have a repeat occurence.

Tide, just wanna say two things man, first, glad your okay bro, that could of gone down real bad, either with an allergic reaction or you losing your mojo and having a garage sale over the interestate, so glad you're okay bro.
Second, get a shield man, yea I know, shields are for wimps, man, everytime I see a rock or a big bug go splaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, or craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack on my shield tearing up the highway, I think, yep, glad I got it on.

Man, That would'a freaked me right out...I HATE bees. Don't give a rip about spiders, bats, snakes, but I hate them stinging ba$tards! Glad you're OK; that really could've gone sideways on you in so many ways.
