sorry ,
not paying attention, could be sonething to do with my 5 year old screaming in one ear and my 4 month old screaming in the other while my wife is bleating on about me being on the computor again !
Now I remember why I wanted a single seat !
ok I have to admit, friend of mine gave me a hand...biggest pain in the a... was installing and wiring my new blinkers (=> Kellermann), these are LED's and need extra resistors in order to function correctly...
I don't want to sound like a fruit but could you post a pic of you sitting on the bike? I am wondering what kind of reach it would be. I like the look but don't want to be too stretched out.

I don't have anyone to take a pic right now since my wife's at work and I won't let my kids touch the digicam. But, when I do, I'll make sure to purty myself all up for you. Seriously, though, there are absolutely no reach issues. In fact, I set mine forward a bit more because, with the pullback, I felt my hands were too close to me.
Really bad@ss man! Now that you know how to do it, maybe you could start a little side business!
I'd make a fortune given the amount of hours it took me. That is...if someone would be willing to pay my outlandish labor charges.
Actually, once I'm over the impact of the effort, I'll probably do a post on problems I ran in to that the Manual and online instructions don't cover. Those are the things that made it harsh. And just to put it out there, I'm very willing to answer any questions folks have with their installs. I have some paying forward to do.
On a side note...I took it for an hour-long ride today. My impressions:
More comfortable than the stock bars.
My clutch lever is super smooth and easy now. Could be the Barnett cable. Could be the Mobile 1.
No turning/control issues at all.
If it looks anywhere near as badass as I feel on it, I've got one helluva bike.
Looks really good. Were you able to keep the stock risers? ... I've been wanting some new bars, but everything I've found is turned down at the risers... and the stock bars are 1 1/4" all the way across. Just didn't want to buy new risers too.
These Wild1s were tapered at the riser area to accomodate my stock riser. If your Wide Glide is different, as you say, then you'd have to look at other options. I believe Wild1s has other Chubby bars that aren't tapered.
