Freezing your tank off !

Hi all hope all is well with everyone, I recently read an article , I just wish I could remember where it was. Anyhow, It said that if you get a small dent in your tank.. NO Creases.. you could fill your tank cap it and put it in a freezer to push the ding or small dent back out.. Has anyone heard of this before or attempted it ? It sounds logical but it would take alot of pressure to do so I would think and you risk the danger of possibly splitting the tank Im sure.. If it works that would help alot of people to save some money...

My money is on the tank splitting before the ding pops out.

I tired the Dy Ice method on a tank I had which said that the dry ice would do the same thing. No luck for me. That was when my bike turned black as it was silver before.
