I have a wideband O2 meter that I have used successfully on a couple of carb bikes and now I'm going to try it on my new FB.
So there are two O2 sensors, one in each downpipe and it would seem that I could remove one temporarily and fit the O2 meter's sensor in there. But what effect is this going to have on the AFR as set by the EFI? Is it going to see the removed sensor as a really low AFR and richen the AFR and so screw up my reading?
Seems I found an answer to this already. Its typical, you search for ages and then as soon as you give up and post on a forum the answer jumps right out at you
My wideband meter has an extra connection on it that simulates the removed stock narrowband sensor. You run a wire from the meter's control unit to the stock sensor and tap into the wire there.
