I am not sure about the HP claims but a local builder swears by them. he may just be looking to pad the bill a little as well lol. I checked them out at his shop and they look quailty built though. May look into one more.

Another thing about the oil pump taking away power,the faster you run it the more power it takes.Dyno tests are at high RPM.
