My fiancee is 5'10'' 140 lbs, no fat chicks for me I can honestly say I've never gone "hog hunting" lol

and yes I'll definitely post up some pics when I put them on. I took the passenger pad off today and I really like the look. I think it's gonna look awesome just a tad lower.

Bike looks great man. I'm just going to try the rear first and may do the front later if I feel it needs it.

I put the 1" Burley Brothers rear drop kit on my bagger (Ebay). THey work great, even with a fat chick. I have never bottomed out....

Yeah I made a thread with the pics and whatnot, here's a post I just made in another thread about it.
"Be careful lowering it. I've got 1" lowering blocks on mine and it looks ****ing awesome but even after all the reading I did of people saying they never bottom out, I seem to bottom out easily even with the shocks on the stiffest setting. I knocked a nick out of the front side of the fender from it hitting the passenger peg mount. Maybe I just ride it harder than the people who don't bottom out lol
I'm 245 lbs but I know I saw a post from one guy saying even with him and his ole lady on back he hadn't bottomed or rubbed so who knows."

I love the way it looks and it definitely handles better but I can't imagine how these other guys haven't had the fender hit or anything, especially the guy who did 1.75"
Here's the pics.

Overall it hasn't bother me enough to want to change them out. I like the looks/handling too much. I'm used to having to deal with bs like that when lowering vehicles anyway. My car is the same way, if I don't take even speed bumps at the right angle I'll drag my headers.

Damnit Man! Not the news i wanted to hear! Looks badass thats for sure. But I am 240, and hell, im guessing we ride the same east Texas roads, so dont know if its going to be worth it. Nothing makes you pucker worse that bottoming out in a sharp lean. Makes that bike wanna stand up and go straight again!

It's not that bad. I'm 6'4'' 245 but the only time it's bottomed out was on a big swooping dip/hump where the suspension had a long extended motion and the fender smacked the passenger peg mount. I haven't had it happen on any turn or even just rough roads.
We'll see what happens when I get my fiancee on back, probably have to ride like a grandma on a beach cruiser.

I might go with it. I want to remove the back pegs anyway since the lil lady rides her own Steet Bob. I would have to make a custom mount for the belt guard, but that shouldnt be to hard. wonder if i did that if i would have any bottoming out problems? That or just have the fender trimmed a little. Is the improved handling well worth the work though?

I put lowering blocks on my Fat Bob. Had my wife on back and hit a pretty big dip in the road and ripped my wiring harness to pieces under the fender. Blew the fuses and then no lites. When the new harness came in I didn't run it down the middle or use the rubber stick tube. So far so good....We still can feel a rub every once in a while.

Of course I live in Louisiana where even the new roads are rough...
