I decided to go with bags from US Saddlebag Co. I like the aero look better than some of the boxier style bags. Being from Massachusetts I incorporated a stop at their plant on a recent trip I made to Boston. Their staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was nice to see the bags in production. In all a nice place to do business.
The total install, along with a HD removable sissy bar docking kit took less than 20 minutes. I needed to use longer 2.75 x 3/8 allen bolts for this particular combination of parts. Had a small issue with being sold the wrong mounts for the Dyna but a quick email and a day later US had the correct mounts at my door! Again fantastic service. Here are some photos for anyone on the edge of choosing bags. Again this is a 2010 FXDC with HD removable back rest docking kit and US Saddlebags.
great bags and great customer service. Got mine a year ago and love them but the set up is pricey. Coming back from Thunderbeach in Panama City Beach I hit some heavy rain in TN but my stuff in the saddlebags stayed dry. A little harley leather dressing and they looked good as new.
