Default Exhaust Help

Just want to see what kinda of ideas you guys have. I have D&D fatcats with performance baffles. I need to go to a pipe that is not so loud. Going to get away form the 2-1 know I will lose some performance but so be it. Whats yall thought on some diff pipes.

1. Do they make baffles for those pipes that are interchangeable?

2. Failing that, if you go to an exhaust system that has an equalizer (crossover) tube, the power loss won't be as bad.

They do make interchangeable baffles but they are all kind of loud, even the "quiet" one. Check out the supertrapp 2 into 1 with the tunable discs. That might fit your needs.

I wouldn't bet on this, but I "think" the new Screamin' Eagle pipes have catalytic converters in them.

I just went to a Supermeg and gained lots of power and it's about as quiet as stock, it does have a nice a deep rumble .

Depending on the cost, what about trying the quiet baffles before going with a whole new system. Should help with the sound and not hurt performance.
