Exactly what I was about to type. I'd look at a '07 FXDCI. I promise that later you will be glad you did if/when you decide to change the bars out.

if them prices are for 06 models I would say drop another 1500 off that price if he wants to move em.your 07 can be bought for that price with of course setup delivery etc.

Much nicer looking and the console is BOSS.

I went with the FXDCI in 05 and could not be happier. I would have put the difference back in chrome anyway. The console is also a big plus. And not for nuthin' but I prefer the speedo on the bars (vs the Low Rider).

As the all will say which ever bike you get, you will make it your own, mine is an '05 FXD. a few change out. as I'm not into much chrome, I like this bike over the custom, added wide glide handle bars, bags, SEII a/c pipes, Kuryakyn switchblade pegs, forward controls, a detachable windshield I'm happy

Dude,

I just had to have that beautiful black head light so I got the FXDI, however by the time I was done with the options I wanted it cost me around $ 19 K but I wouldn't have it anyother way. Not a big chrome fan.
