Default need help!

I recently put on a s/e a/c and a set of vance and hines shortshots staggered on my 06 streetbob, which by the way i had them black powdered coated with high temp coating.Well my problem is that the stealer said i needed to install a $500 race tuner from s/e , which they kindly said they could try the performance download first and of course it did not work. Now i am out of $225 and still need to get it fixed cuz they said it is running to lean. What i need to know is what to do now to fix the problem?

You could run a SERT, which the dealer would more than likely need to insall. A more cost effective approach would be to run the pcIII with a pre-loaded map for your setup. You can find that at http://www.powercommander.com/811-511.aspx. You could also call www.fuelmotousa.com and purchase the pcIII from them and they will load one of their dyno load tested maps. Try one of those options and I'm sure your setup will come around. Good luck.

mingo, I would ask your dealerman to refund the 225 for the the item they recommended
and did not work, towards the purchase of the SERT.

The SERT is an excellent performance tool.

Tried and true. Well worth the bux.

I'd also recommend a TFI/DFO, however, they're only a $100 or so less than a PCIII which are $100 or so less than a SERT.
