Picked up some Fat Bob bars & risers for fxdc. I have it loosely in place, but something doesn't look right. My old risers rested on a chrome washer with a lip on it that covered the rubber grommet in the triple tree. Is it the same setup on the FXDF, or do the risers go straight into the recesses on the triple tree? If it is the same setup, is the the cupped washer chrome, or black? A close-up pic of the would be awsome if anyone is feeling ambitious. Thanks.

 

I no longer have the stock bars on mine... but, yes the washer was there just like yours.
Paint the washer black and reinstall it on the new setup.

 

I guess I was feeling ambitious... See attached pic. I have street slammers on my bike but the stock risers were installed directly on top of the chrome washers in the pics.
