Looks good but what are you going to do when you get caught in a good rain?
I have been caught in some pretty heavy downpours with my AN BS and have had no issues. During an iron Butt last year we rode for about 3 hours in the rain and no problem. You can always buy a rainsock for it, K&N sells them.
I think it's a sweet looking breather...almost bought this same S&S in black for my 09 FLHX (like the stacked look), but went a little "old school" w/the LA Chopper's xXx. Like others said - it's your bike so make it look any way you want.
Also, IRT the rain, shouldn't affect anything b/c a little water doesn't hurt the intake. Heck, they inject water into drag racing machines for more HP. Maybe take her for a spin in the rain to see how she does in the 1/4-mile...

It's not about getting water into the intake. The issue, when it happens, is the filter getting waterlogged and reducing the flow of air. The bike runs very rich and before long the plugs foul. Had that problem on a Shadow I had several years back, and even the K&N raincover didn't help much. Carried a plug wrench and brass brush all the time cause here in FL liquid sunshine is pretty much a daily thing during the summer.
Yeah, I know it's my bike....I was just being sarcastic...nothing personal. I'll put some up when I get time to dye them. I did buy the black S&S rain covers for them, so that solves the rain issue. Plus I like black look of them.
