How do you tell if your front mount is worn out? I was looking at my front mount and it is sitting on the triangle rubber. It is not ripped at all just resting on the triangle bumper. Is this normal? Bike only has 4500mi But I do beat it alittle.

 

Your bike looks like an 03, 4500mi. isn't very many for that old a bike.Don't know what you mean by triangle rubber but if it feels like a lot of vibration it could be bad for a no. of reasons. 7-8 years old, very hard riding, burnouts and wheelies, not completely cleaning the rubber of oil after an oil change.I just replaced mine with 24000mi. on it and added one of these on the attachment, bottom right, takes some stress off the mount.
