tank lift or no tank lift?

I had to move mine backwards about 1.5" to clear new trees without making custom travel stops. Did a 1.5" lift at the same time. After several mockups I decided the 1.5" was about as high as I could go before it started to look too odd.

I spent $4 on some u-bolts to make the one I had on my 04 for a few thousand miles. I decided its not my style, and cleaning the tops of the rockers aint THAT hard without it. Its whatever floats your boat though. Im glad I didnt drop serious coin on it thats for sure.

When you can get nice ones for less than $10, why not? I got one for less than $7, but haven't installed it yet. It's a 2". Hoping it will help the engine cool a little better.
