look at the switch on the top trans cover, and see if it is loose or the wires on it are loose.....that will make it flicker.
+1....
Had the same problem several times, most of them after having washed the bike.
It's a bad connection causing the neutural light to flicker. Ho to solve?
Just take off the plugs from the switch on the transmission cover one at the time, clean the copper studs and the inside part of the plug, spray some WD40 in the plug and reconnect.
I had the same thing happen to me a while ago. I took it to the dealer since it was still under warranty. The mechanic blamed it on the V&H Fuel Pak that I had at the time. He claimed that it pinched wires under the seat since it is large and jammed under the seat and then tried to sell me the SE RaceTuner. He never "found" the pinched wire but said when he moved the wires around and problem went away. He then said he SHOULD charge me since it is an aftermarket part that I put on. I told them whatever and got on my bike and rode away. Last time I've ever taken my bike to the dealer for anything!!!
Funny thing, that dealership is now out of business after being the "Oldest dealer in Pennsylvania" since the 20's!!! Go figure!
